For employers with specific websites targeting students and recent graduates, the Best Campus Career Website is awarded to the employer with the campus career website that is judged to be most appealing and useful to students and recent graduates. Judges will be asked to consider the quality of content provided, as well as ease of use and design, all in the context of their wants and needs when they research their career options and your company.
For some organizations, internship/co-op programs are like extended job interviews for both the employer and the candidate, and employers are increasingly using these programs as campus recruitment and retention tools to hire the best and brightest new graduates. Judges will be asked to evaluate:
  • How you recruit and hire for your internship/co-op program
  • The overall experience you provide for your interns/co-op students
  • How you keep them engaged before, during and after their internship or work term
  • How you retain them once they have completed their internship or work term
In today’s changing environment, employers are innovating at a rapid pace in order to remain or become competitive in recruiting top talent. This award recognizes the organization that has executed the best campus recruitment program of the year. Judges will be asked to consider the activities undertaken by the employer, and the success achieved.
Every year, there are individuals within the campus recruiting community who stand out – whether it’s by taking a risk (and winning) with new technologies, becoming a recognized thought leader in the market, or excelling where others have struggled. This award is for egg-ceptional individual campus recruiters who have particularly egg-celled over the past year. Judges will be asked to provide feedback on the individual’s overall achievements in the campus recruitment market. Applications for this award may be submitted personally, or by a third-party nomination.

This award is for employers who have incorporated candidate/potential-candidate education into their recruitment strategy, and in doing so have made an egg-ceptional contribution to youth employment in Canada. Judges will be asked to evaluate:
  • How you help students and recent graduates prepare for their careers
  • The various methods you employ in order to share this information (blogs, articles, videos, in-person sessions, etc.)
  • The effectiveness and impact of your efforts
Has your organization ‘figured out’ how to effectively reach students and grads using digital media? Do you have a great on-campus presence, run innovative competitions, publish creative videos? This category recognizes employers that egg-cel in getting their employment brand and recruiting message to students and grads. Judges will be asked to provide feedback on your overall campaign, and how well you use various tools/strategies to:
  • Enable access to information about your student and new grad recruitment
  • Provide unique information about opportunities for students and grads
  • Leverage tools to promote your hiring and programs
We’re recognizing career centres that have taken an innovative approach to career education on their campuses. Judges will be asked to provide feedback on your overall programs and outreach, and how well you use various tools/strategies to:
  • Enable access to information about your career-related events
  • Provide unique information and educational opportunities – in groups and one-on-one
Crafting an egg-ceptional social media presence is no easy task. It requires planning, dedication, and a healthy dose of creativity. This category recognizes organizations that egg-cel at leveraging social media to engage with students and new grads. Judges will provide feedback on your overall campaign, and how well you use various tools/strategies to:
  • Effectively provide information for students and grads
  • Interact with your audience in a relatable way
  • Create engaging online campaigns aimed at aspiring young professionals
Today’s top educational institutions understand the essential role that digital media plays in a successful recruitment strategy – and know how to use it to its full potential. This award recognizes the most egg-ceptional digital recruitment campaigns produced by an educational institution. Judges will provide feedback on your overall campaign, and how well you use various tools/strategies to:
  • Showcase information about your educational programs and services
  • Provide unique and valuable learning opportunities for students and grads
  • Communicate recruitment messaging in an effective and engaging way
This Special Award recognizes recruitment programs that are committed socially responsible hiring and onboarding practices, and are actively incorporating policies that encourage inclusion, sustainability, community outreach, accessibility, intersectionality, and/or diversity into their existing recruitment processes. Judges will be asked to provide feedback on your recruitment strategy and how well you use various tools and initiatives to:
  • Provide equal access to recruitment materials and events
  • Incorporate diversity and accessibility training into your onboarding process
  • Promote socially responsible initiatives within the workplace and develop an inclusive workplace environment
This award recognizes employers with Campus Ambassador programs that partner with students or new graduates to conduct student outreach on campus. The Best Campus Ambassador Program is awarded to the employer that is judged to have the most well-structured, accessible, innovative program that fosters ongoing dialogue between students and the employer. Judges will be asked to consider:
  • The overall quality and cohesion of your Student Ambassador program
  • How your Campus Ambassador program incorporates accessibility initiatives
  • Measurable outcomes of the ways in which your Student Ambassador program has established or improved your communication with students
